Spacebase 1710-SD: An epic tale from Spacebase DF-9.
“The venture into space is meaningless unless it coincides with a certain interior expansion, an ever-growing universe within, to correspond with the far flight of the galaxies our telescopes follow from without.”

I took a short brake while building the lifesupport room, and airlock with Azha, and John. We've made quite a bit of progress in the last three days, but with oxygen supplies dwindling I can feel myself getting sluggish, and with the two brothers not being builders, I can see the oxygen depletion wearing them down also.
The plus side of things is we landed near a small asteroid field, so we will have plenty materials to work with once we get a refiner up and running. We're hoping a couple of colony ships will find us soon to join our base, but we haven't seen any signs of life in the last few days, it's hard doing all this work by ourselves, but they only send the brightest Spacenauts to start a spacebase colony, so I guess that says something about us.
Once we finish our work, I will do a longer entry, but every second counts until we enter the airlock, so I must end this entry short. Two days left before we asphyxiate and become part of the void. Steph Fowl, signing off. Entry Log 3, end.

We completed theairlock, and life support rooms jus tin time! What a marvel, what an accomplishment, what an exiting moment! I can't believe we did it with a day to spare, but we did. Once we entered the airlock, we unsuited and took a bit of a breather, we still have so much more to do, but we really needed to get out of those suits.
After our short break, we got right back to work, not because we wanted to, but our system sent out a warning that our Spacebase oxygen level were low, and if you know anything about space, having a low oxygen supply is always a bad thing.
We've set up a blueprint to expand out Life support room, and also added an addition of a bar, and sleep quarters. You would think a bar wouldn't be important, but when you're out here alone, with nothing to do, nothing is better than finishing up your work, and having a drink before bed.
I believe next we will start working on a decent size reactor room to handle our energy needs, and also a refinery so that we can mine the asteroids around us that is hindering us from expanding out base. We are all excited about our accomplishments, during our break I had time to speak with Azha, and John, they seem quite guarded so I'll have to catch them alone to dig a bit into their past. Well, I believe it's time to get back to work, Steph Fowl, signing off. Entry Log 4, end.
